Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh to share screen space in a YRF film?

Rumoured couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have showcased their sizzling chemistry on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ke Rasleela Ram Leela, and Bajirao Mastani. Though they also featured in Padmaavat, the two actors did not have any scenes together. 

But now in a rather exciting news, another filmmaker is keen to rope in the jodi for his next film. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the couple has been reportedly signed by Yash Raj Films for a film to be directed by Maneesh Sharma. While it is not sure if the film will a romantic comedy, Deepika and Ranveer are perhaps excited to work together once again.

Meanwhile, rumours of their marriage has been doing the rounds for a long time now with reports of their parents having shortlisted the dates for the much-anticipated wedding. But refuting all rumours, Ranveer had recently revealed to BollywoodLife, "It is the function of speculation - to exist. Nothing is official till it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So we are quite occupied and distracted. So, if there is any announcement in the future, you will be hearing me shouting from the rooftops."

On work front, Deepika was said to feature next opposite Irrfan Khan in a film directed by filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj but it has been stalled for now due to Irrfan’s ill-health. Ranveer Singh has already begun shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt.
