Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently put all rumours to rest as they announced the date of their grand wedding. The couple revealed that they are tying the knot on November 14 and 15. The venue, however, is still left to be disclosed.

Rumours had it that the couple was keen on exchanging the seven vows on a foreign land and had chosen Lake Como in Italy as the venue for their November wedding. However, now we hear that logistical reasons have brought about a change in the venue.

Deepika and Ranveer's nuptials will now take place in Vakola, Mumbai, as per a latest Mid-Day report. According to the daily, Italy was proving to be difficult for several family members, which is why the couple decided to keep it in Mumbai, itself.

The sangeet, mehendi, wedding and reception is likely to be held at a five-star hotel in Vakola. And the couple is roping in the same wedding planner who was hired for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding in May this year.

Bollywood's most gorgeous couple will marry in both south Indian and north Indian traditions. The four-day affair will be kickstarted by a sangeet function on November 13. This will be followed by a Kannadiga style wedding on November 14. On November 15, they will tie the knot again, in the North Indian way.

“Since Deepika is a South Indian and Ranveer is of Sindhi-Punjabi origin, the two families decided to follow customs practised by both communities. A South Indian wedding has been planned for November 14, complete with Kannadiga rituals. The next day will see the couple solemnise their relationship as per the customs of a North Indian wedding (Anant Karaj),” Mid-Day reported.

The wedding will strictly be a family affair and there will hardly be any representation from the industry. However, a few exceptions might be made for Deepika and Ranveer's mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer's close friend and actor Arjun Kapoor and YRF head Aditya Chopra (who launched Ranveer in his production, Band Baaja Baraat).

“The celebrations will be followed by an intimate party on November 15,” the report says.

Deepika and Ranveer will most likely host a lavish reception for their B-Town friends in Mumbai on December 1. Co-incidentally, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are expected to tie the knot on the same day in Jodhpur.

“The two will host a reception at Grand Hyatt on December 1. As their wedding is an intimate affair, the reception will be a grand one where they will invite their Bollywood friends.” A reception in Bengaluru is also on the cards.
