Curious case of 'A Gentleman': Here's how the title for Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez's next was picked!

Sidharth Malhotra's next has been making headlines, ever since it was announced. A popcorn action comedy film, like Sid calls it to be, this has Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK at the helm of things.

The Go Goa Gone directors are back with another quirky action tale. There have been a lot of names thrown in for the film. First people thought it's called Bang Bang 2, then it was called Reload. No, it's none of them. Instead, it has been titled A Gentleman.

Yes, Sidharth threw in a little surprise for all his fans and many didn't notice how he hashtagged #Gentleman in his tweets. The logo of the film, revealing the title is now out. An official teaser video too is out which has already got the fans talking.

But let us tell you how the team arrived to this title. Says a source, "People were thinking its Bang Bang 2 which is why Raj and Krishna who are known for their impeccable sense of humour decided to put out 'Not Bang Bang 2' in the clap. They had a working title Reload but they always knew this won't be the final title for the film."

But before 'A Gentleman', the team had decided on another title, which didn't work out. "They wanted to call it A Nice Guy. And then they started thinking of variations for the same which is when they arrived to calling it A Gentleman."

The film releases on August 25.
