Cricketer Yuvraj Singh to make his acting debut in season two of 'Inside Edge'

With more and more Bollywood actors trying their hands at web series and making their debut on digital platforms, the latest one being R Madhavan, looks like it's now time for Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh to follow suit. Why do we say so? Well, if the latest reports are to be believed, then Yuvraj might make his acting debut with Amazon Prime's original series Inside Edge season 2. 

A report on MidDay quoted a source as saying, "The makers were toying with the idea of roping in a cricketer for their next season, as it would lend more authenticity to it. Yuvraj's name cropped up several times." The report further added that Yuvi was pretty excited on hearing the news and couldn't contain his excitement under wraps. 

The first season of cricket based original series Inside Edge starring the likes of Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha and Angad Bedi became immensely popular on the digital platform. Reportedly, Angad is a good friend of Yuvraj and so it became easier to convince Yuvi to do the series. 

The source further told the tabloid, "When Angad requested Yuvraj to feature in the show, he jumped at the idea. If the dates work out, he will be seen in the new season.” Buzz is that Yuvraj will be seen playing himself in the series and the script of season two of Inside Edge is being prepared as of now.
