Confirmed! Sridevi's daughter Janvi Kapoor to star in 'Sairat' remake with Ishaan Khattar!

Speculations about the big Bollywood debut of Sridevi's daughter Janvi Kapoor have been doing the rounds for over a year now. Looks like finally there's a confirmation on her first film. As per latest reports, Janvi is all set to star opposite Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar in the remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat.

The film is to be co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Trade analyst made the official confirmation when he tweeted, "#JhanviKapoor and #IshaanKhattar starrer Hindi remake of Marathi Blockbuster #Sairat will go on da floors from Dec 1st.. @karanjohar co-prod”. So the film is to go on floor from December 1st this year.

Both Janvi and Ishaan have been spotted together at several movie screenings and outings. The rumours of them coming together for the Sairat remake have also been doing the rounds for a long time and finally the same has been confirmed. The Hindi remake is to be helmed by Shashank Khaitan. 

As of now, Ishaan is shooting for his acting debut in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's flick titeld Beyond The clouds.
