Cannes 2019: Diana Penty channels her inner Jolie on Day 3, hits the streets of French Riviera in a floral trench coat

Bollywood actor Diana Penty is dishing out fashion inspiration one look at a time at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. On Day 3, the Cannes debutante channeled her inner Angelina Jolie in a floral trenchcoat by Blumarine. The thigh-high black boots and the little potli bag perfectly off-setted the bright ensemble.

On Day 2, Diana went completely desi in a white and gold satin saree-inspired gown by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal. What stood out in this look of hers was the belt on her waist and the thigh-high slit which gave the humble Indian saree a global appeal.

Ahead of Cannes, she also posted another look, in which she wore a cedar brown high split maxi dress which she paired up with golden vintage Chanel belt, black stiletto boot, and brown aviators."Striding into #Cannes2019," she wrote on her Instagram post.

On the work front, Diana was last seen in 'Parmanu' and 'Happy Bhag Jayegi', where she played the character of a Punjabi girl, 'Happy'. She was cast opposite stars Abhay Deol and Jimmy Shergill.

She took four years gap after her Bollywood debut film 'Cocktail', before returning to the silver screen with 'Happy Bhag Jayegi'. She was busy with her modeling career and was also doing endorsements and other shows as she didn't want to pressurise herself for acting.
