Buzz is: Janhvi Kapoor to be the leading lady of Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's darling daughter Janhvi Kapoor is currently shooting for her Bollywood debut film Dhadak, along with Ishaan Khatter. The film is a Hindi adaptation of Marathi hit flick Sairat. 

Though, there's still time before Janhvi's dream debut film hits the theatres, rumous mills are abuzz that the young actress is already being considered for a few more projects. Apparently, Janvhi has already got her second project even before the release of her first film. 

If a report on Deccan Chronicle is anything to go by, then Janhvi may be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty's next titled Simmba. The film is said to be a remake of Telugu hit Temper which originally starred N.T. Rama Rao Junior and Kajal Aggarwal. 

A source was quoted as saying, "Janhvi will be sharing a lot more screen space with Ranveer than Kajal Aggarwal in the original.Since Karan Johar is co-producing Simmba it was his idea to cast Janhvi. Boney had reservations about this project since he had seen the original and felt the heroine's role was limited in scope. But Karan who is mentoring Janhvi and launching her in Dhadak, assured Boney and Sridevi that a hardcore masala film with Rohit Shetty is just what Janhvi's career needs as its post-debut booster."
