BREAKING: Amitabh Bachchan calls reports of testing negative for coronavirus 'incorrect, irresponsible, fake'

After reports floated of Amitabh Bachchan testing negative for COVID-19, the veteran actor denied the news on his Twitter account and called it 'fake'.

Taking to his Twitter account Bing B wrote, ".. this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!" 

Just today, reports came in stating that the superstar is likely to get discharged soon. It was on last week that Amitabh had taken to the microblogging website to confirm the news and urged people who have been in close proximity with him to get themselves tested. "I have tested CoviD positive ..  shifted to Hospital  .. hospital informing  authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !" 

His son Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive and they were both admitted to Nanavati hospital. Abhishek had tweeted about his diagnosis too and said, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them."

Apart from Amitabh and Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan had also tested positive for COVID-19. Both mother and daughter were hospitalized too after showing symptoms of fever.
