Even after crossing Rs. 100 crore mark, Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is unstoppable at the Box Office. The movie is all set to be the first surprise hit of 2020. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak has fallen flat and barely manages to cross the desired Box Office numbers.

The festival of Makar Sankranti aided Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Ajay Devgn's film. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, thus, according to early estimates on Box Office India, collected around Rs. 15.50-16 crore. The movie has worked well in Hindi-speaking belts, including Gujarat and Saurashtra which contributed Rs. 2 crores to the collections.

The film is also extraordinary in Mumbai, which has contributed to Rs. 50 crore within a week. More so, Tanhaji's Box Office report in Mumbai on day six is better than its first-day collections too. The competition from Rajinikanth's Darbar, Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo seem to barely have any impact on the film.

On the other hand, Chhapaak, starring Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey in the lead role has barely managed to mint Rs. 2-2.25 crore net. This takes the total collections of the film at merely Rs. 24.50 crore. The film has stopped working even in big multiplexes. More so, despite the occasion of Lohri, the film's collections in Delhi and Chandigarh were flat.
