Boney Kapoor couldn't hold back his tears on seeing Tina Ambani's gift for Sridevi

It's been about two weeks since the sudden and tragic demise of India's first female superstar - Sridevi and her friends, fans and family members are doing their best to cope up with the loss. While good designer Manish Malhotra has been sharing some stunning pictures of the legendary actress on his Instagram page, other family friends are also trying to stay strong by remembering fond memories of the actress. 

Tina Ambani, who was pretty close to Sridevi and was good friends with her, recently gave a gift in memory of the actress which brought tears to the eyes of Boney Kapoor. Tina Ambani got some of the candid pictures of the actress framed in silverware and gave it to Boney. The pictures were taken just 13 days before Sridevi left for heavenly abode on February 24. It was Tina Ambani's 62st birthday bash, which happened to be the actress's last gathering in Mumbai. 

A report on BollywodLife quoted a source as saying, "“Tina has gifted a gorgeous silver frame of Sridevi’s candid picture that was clicked during her 61st birthday bash. Who knew it would turn out to become Sridevi’s last get together in Mumbai. Boney was really touched when he saw the picture. He couldn’t hold back his tears and thanked Tina for bringing back some sweet memories.”

Sridevi passed away to due 'accidental drowning' followed by loss of consciousness in her hotel bathtub in Dubai, where she had gone to attend a family wedding. The actress was given state honours and cremated in Mumabi on February 28.
