'Bollywood's only aim is to malign Hindus?': Twitter trends #BoycottDabangg3 due to Salman Khan's 'Hud Hud' song

After Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3' song 'Hud Hud', many raised an objection against the makers for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments.

Just a few days after the title track of Dabangg 3 was released, it created quite a stir among many. The song titled 'Hud Hud', has Salman Khan making a dashing entry and dancing with the people of Maheshwar in it. But, it was the dancing of sadhus with the superstar which disappointed many. The holy saints are seen playing the guitars and also headbanging in the video. Hindu Jagriti Samiti raised an objection against it and #Boycott Dabangg3 is trending on Twitter.

One of the Twitter users wrote, "#BoycottDabangg3 Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has submitted a representation to the Central Board Of Film Certification, in which it has demanded that the Certification to the film should not be given until the scenes hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus are deleted."

While another user tweeted, "Makers of #Dabangg3 do come to your senses! Don't belittle sadhu sants in the name of entertainment! #BoycottDabangg3"

Talking about Dabangg 3, the film is the third instalment in the hit Dabangg franchise and is helmed by Prabhu Dheva. Apart from Salman, the film also has Arbaaz Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and debutante Saiee Manjrekar in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on December 20, 2019.

Late Vinod Khanna who played the role of Salman aka Chulbul Pandey's stepfather has been replaced by his brother Pramod Khanna. In Dabangg 3, the main antagonist is Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep.
