In a new development in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, now, the Bihar government is all set to assist the late actor's father KK Singh in Supreme Court. According to our sources, the Bihar government will oppose Rhea Chakraborty's petition in the Supreme Court in which she urged SC to transfer the FIR registered in Bihar against her in this case to Mumbai Police.

In addition to this, Sushant's family with assistance from the Bihar government has also filed a caveat with the court to not allow the actress's petition to be heard in the court. In its caveat, the Bihar government has requested SC to hear their plea as well, in addition to Rhea's plea. It has urged SC to not pass any orders without hearing both sides.

Former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi will plead in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Bihar government. Talking to PTI, lawyer Vikas Singh said, “If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she (Rhea) has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.”

When Rhea Chakraborty filed a petition with the court, she pleaded that that police from two different states cannot investigate one case.On Tuesday evening, Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh accused Rhea of taking Sushant's cash, jewellery, laptop, and credit cards with her when she broke up with him on June 8, 2020.
