Three years since Sanjay Dutt appeared on the big screen but Bollywood's beloved Baba clearly hasn't lost his magic at movies or his fan following. The first look of his comeback film, Bhoomi is out and every scene in the trailer depicts the powerful screen presence of this 59 year old actor.

The film stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari in the role of father and daughter. Not trying to playing Sanskaari babuji in the film, Dutt is shown working out pumping up his biceps, doing his puja in the morning and even having drunk conversations with his friend played by Shekhar Suman. The trailer begins on a happy note where the father is seen preparing for the wedding of his beloved daughter. The film becomes a revenge saga after some unfortunate events when Dutt's character is ready to do anything to save his daughter's integrity. The actor is even seen doing some action sequences after a long time.

Sharad Kelkar plays the baddie who seems to have ruined her life and mocks at Save our Daughters campaign in one of the dialogues in the trailer. At the trailer launch of the film, Sanjay Dutt said that he couldn't find a better film to make a comeback after 3 years. This film is an emotional take on father and daughter relationship and the trailer was unveiled on Dutt's daughter Trishala's birthday.

 

 

Director Omung Kumar is confident of his pairing and said, "Sanjay and Aditi complement each other in their roles as father and daughter."  Producer Bhushan Kumar added, "Bhoomi is a story about a father daughter relationship and. Sanjay Dutt and Aditi have portrayed their characters so well." Aditi Rao Hydari is happy to play the part of Dutt's daughter had a lot of nice things to say about his on screen Baba.

 

 

Bhoomi is an emotional and sensitive revenge drama that explores the relationship between a father and daughter. Bhoomi releases worldwide on September 22, 2017.
