BFFs Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani to host Karan Johar-Rohit Shetty's talent show

Even as Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty are coming together to judge a new talent hunt, tentatively titled India’s Next Superstar, we have learnt that the makers have roped in Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani to host the show. The two, who were last seen together in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, were seen bonding big time and their bromance on the show became a talking point. They were hanging out together at all times, making fun videos for Instagram. 

The two actors whose friendship started during Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa when they were both contestants, were seen together on Nach Baliye 6 — Karan as the host and Rithvik as a participant. The duo was so funny that though some of their antics were not part of the show, they were included as ‘extra moments’. 

However, this will be the first time the two will be co-hosting a show and the makers are banking on their chemistry to liven up the proceedings. Says a source, “After Maniesh Paul, it’s Rithvik who is known for his sense of humour. Karan, too, is fun as a host and together they will be a riot. They are good friends in real life and that translates on the screen. 

The show will have 12 boys and 12 girls as contestants, and they will be staying together under one roof. As they will be given different tasks everyday and rated on the basis of how they perform, it will be Rithvik and Karan who will be interacting with them and making them feel comfortable .” 

The show is a search for aspiring actors and the winners will get to do a film with Karan’s banner.
