B-town celebs 'can't get over' Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar's 'The Sky Is Pink'

Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar's The Sky Is Pink has become of the most anticipated releases in India and overseas. The film travelled several film festivals and has received a lot of love for its heartwarming story and great performances. It became the talk of the town since its announcement, and fans have been really excited to see Priyanka back in Bollywood films. 

Last night a special screening for the film fraternity was held in Mumbai and the early reviews are in. B-town celebs went on to say the film didn't just get them teary-eyed but they ended up sobbing. Diana Penty went on to say she couldn't get over the film. Celebrities like Arjun Kanungo, Diana Penty, Tarun Mansukhani, Shefali Shah, and more took to the social media and talked about the film.

The Sky Is Pink starring Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar is based o the motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary's life and death. She was diagnosed with Pulmonary fibrosis due to chemotherapy's side effects which she had as a baby after a bone marrow transplant at 6 months of age. It led to her passing in 2015. The film tells a love story of Aisha's parents Aditi and Niren over the span of 25 years through her eyes as they deal with all the hardships in life. 

Directed by Shonali Bose and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Priyanka Chopra, The Sky Is Pink also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf as Aisha and Ishaan Chaudhary. The film will hit screens on October 11, 2019.
