Ayushmann Khurrana-Tabu-Radhika Apte starrer 'Andhadhun' created a storm in India. The movie, which released as 'The Piano Player' in China has again created waves in the country. The thriller has crossed Rs. 150-crore mark in the China Box Office.

Much like the critical and public acclaim in India, 'Andhadhun' was lauded in China for its out-of-the-box storyline, execution and stellar performances by Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, Radhika Apte and others. The praises has led the movie to mint Rs. 150-crore within the second week of its release.

Tweeting about the same, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#AndhaDhun crosses 150 cr in #China... Starts Week 2 on an enthusiastic note... Will comfortably swim past $ 25 mn in Weekend 2... [Week 2] Fri $ 2.01 mn. Total: $ 21.76 mn [150.51 cr]."

Interestingly, 'Andhadhun', which is in buzz in China as 'The Piano Player', is an adaptation of the French movie 'L'Accordeur', which also translates as 'The Piano Tuner'. Director Sriram Raghavan also reworked on the script along with Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar and Hemanth Rao.

The movie, produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures, released in China on April 5 as 'The Piano Player' and has achieved a feat already. Likewise, 'Andhadhun', which released in India on October 5, 2018, made a Box Office Collection of Rs. 221.24 crore. The movie was made on a budget of Rs. 32 crore.
