Ayushmann Khurrana is looking for artistes to jam with

Besides being an actor, Ayushmann Khurrana is a composer and singer, too. The multi-talented personality has crooned for his movies as well as singles. The AndhaDhun actor, who now wants to connect with his fans over music, is launching a social media contest that will see him give amateur artistes an opportunity to jam with him.

Ayushmann reveals, “I wanted to do something that combines the power of music and social media. I have come across so many talented musicians on social media platforms and I wanted to come up with an idea that will enable me to connect with them. I have named this property — Jam Sessions. It’s basically about artistes jamming with each other.” 

The actor-singer admits that music has always been his first love. Hence, this project is very close to his heart. “I intend to connect with as many artistes as possible. I have partnered with Facebook for this activity as the platform has an incredible reach,” he adds.

Shedding light on how people can get make a pitch to collaborate with him, he says, “The contest is not just limited to singers, whoever wants to connect with me, will just have to send me an unedited video of them singing or playing any musical instrument. Once the contest culminates, I will connect with a few winners and we will make some music together.” 

The Badhaai Ho star is excited to meet and jam with diverse performers from across India. “Through this process, I hope to present some incredible artistes and beautiful music,” he signs off.
