Arjun Rampal-Saif Ali Khan: Clash averted

Arjun Rampal’s next, Daddy, is going to release next month. 

After several delays, the film is hitting the screens on September 8. That was also the date when Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi was meant to release, but now, the clash has been averted.

Says a trade source, “It’s great that good sense prevailed and Kaalakaandi was pushed ahead. Both, Saif and Arjun’s, films would have had the same target audience — the multiplex crowd. |Daddy still had an edge over Kaalakaandi because it’s a commercial film. Saif’s film is a dark comedy, which is a niche genre.” So, Arjun’s going solo now.
