AR Rahman relishes iftar dinner at Cannes

The Cannes International Film Festival has begun with a bang. Oscar and Grammy award winner AR Rahman was one of the few Indians who embraced the stage last night. He attended the festival to promote his directorial Le Musk there. The movie is India's first visual reality film.

AR Rahman, who was fasting for Ramadan, broke his fast in Cannes and had his iftar dinner there. The singer broke his fast with apple juice. He was holding the glass in his hand. A plate full of salads was also placed on the table lying across him.

Rahman shared the photo of his iftar dinner on his Instagram page. He had visited the festival along with his wife. Rahman shared a string of photos with her at the Cannes Film Festival a few hours back. While sharing the photo from his iftar dinner, the singer wrote, "851 pm iftaar".

AR Rahman was recently in news for composing a song from the much-awaited Hollywood flick Avengers: Endgame. The movie has been breaking records in India and worldwide. The movie starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin, and Chris Pratt, has crossed Rs. 350-crore mark in India.
