Apoorva Lakhia clarifies he never approached Rani Mukerji for 'Haseena Parkar'

Apoorva Lakhia is gearing up for the release of his next film, Haseena Parkar. There have been some reports claiming that the director had approached Sonakshi Sinha and Rani Mukerji for the same film. Apoorva agrees on one, “Sonakshi was on board. We were rolling the film with her but then, John’s (Abraham) accident happened and the shoot of Force 2 got pushed, which is why she asked me to go ahead with the film without her.” But Lakhia adds, “There was never any talk initiated with Rani ever for the role. We never had her in mind at all.”
