Apna Time Hai… Khayega!: Amul cheers for Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gully Boy’

Gully Boy trailer had blockbuster written all over it and after its release, the Zoya Akhtar film has lived up to its expectations pretty well. The audience and film critics are going gaga over filmmaker Zoya Akhtar's brilliant storytelling once again, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's acting and also the brilliant casting of Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Vijay Verma. The film has garnered over Rs. 51.15 crores in just 4 days of its release. If the box office success doesn't speak about Gully Boy's success then here comes an awesome validation from Amul.

The Amul ad always manages to capture the newsmakers from all walks of life and once again they have highlighted the rap culture with the three main leads – Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi – depicted in the film. Creating a fictional Gully Boy poster which shows Ranveer, Alia and Siddhant in their rap pose, Amul ad now features 'Apna Time Hai… Khayega!' And Internet is loving it.

Zoya Akhtar and Ranveer Singh developed a special bond which they were shooting for Dil Dhadakne Do with Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Rahul Bose, Shefali Shah, Vikrant Massey and others. That film raised our bar of expectations, and later, with Gully Boy releasing, the wait to see Ranveer and Zoya’s collaboration seemed worth it.

The hitmakers Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have once again proved themselves at the Box Office post Padmaavat and Simmba, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Raazi respectively. The actors are at such a high that they seem unstoppable now.
