It’s for his next film, Bazaar

Saif Ali Khan has a tattoo on his left hand. It says Kareena. And now on his right wrist he has got the name Shakun inked. No, it’s not to make Shakun Batra feel good about not doing his last film Kapoors & Sons. It’s for his next film, Bazaar. Saif plays a stock marketeer. The actor reveals that’s his name — Shakun Kothari — in the film! Says Saif, “When Nikhil (Advani, producer) told me I have to get my character’s name tattooed, I asked him the reason. He told me in small towns, parents get their children’s name inked on their wrists because if they get lost in a mela or elsewhere, people can trace them with the help of the tattoo.” Bazaar is sort of inspired by the 2G scam and Saif is playing a rural character in it.
Salman Khan doesn’t sport any tattoo nor will he ever have one. Not even in his films. A source informs that he doesn’t like getting himself inked. When asked why, the source says, “For Salman believes that scars are cooler than tats, and he has plenty of those.” Isn’t that really cool? The superstar has never sported one in films either. Even in his upcoming film Tubelight, Shah Rukh Khan, who is doing a cameo, sports a tattoo on his face and not Salman.
