Ankita Lokhande took to her Instagram today and spoke about "karma" and "justice" after the arrest of actor Rhea Chakraborty by the Narcotics Central Bureau (NCB), a development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Earlier, Rhea confessed before the Narcotics Central Bureau (NCB) that she used to smoke cigarettes filled with marijuana (ganja) with her actor boyfriend.
Taking to her Instagram, Ankita rejoiced the arrest and wrote, "Nothing happens by chance, by fate. You create your own fate by your actions. That's Karma." Apart from this, Ankita also commented on Shweta Singh Kirti's post 'celebrating' Rhea's arrest and wrote "Diiiiiiii," with several heart emojis.
According to a report in Zee News, during the investigation, Rhea had told the NCB that she used to smoke drug-filled cigarettes with late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea also claimed during interrogation that Sushant was consuming drugs since 2016.
For the uninformed, on Sunday, Ankita had also stepped out to buy saplings ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti's '#Plant4SSR' initiative. The paparazzi clicked Ankita Lokhande as she was heading to buy saplings ahead of the #Plant4SSR initiative. In the photos, the actor was seen in a black skater dress with a denim jacket. She tied her hair in a ponytail and completed her look with white strappy pumps. Ankita posed for the paps with and without a mask too. Paparazzo Viral Bhayani posted the video on his Instagram page and wrote, "We followed #Ankitalokhande car today and were pretty glad we did. A good initiative as #SushantSinghRajput dream was to plant 1000 trees. Now fans and supporters are doing this. Earlier, a case had also been registered against Rajput's sister Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar, Delhi, and others under various sections of IPC and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Bandra Police Station in Mumbai by Rhea.
The complaint stated that Priyanka had sent Sushant a prescription by Dr Tarun Kumar and he "appears to have prescribed medication controlled under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 to Sushant without any consultation as mandated by law." Now, the case has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as per the orders by the Supreme Court, according to the Mumbai Police on Tuesday.
