Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff are all set to reunite with 'Ram Lakhan' director Subhash Ghai

Earlier this year in the month of January, Subhash Ghai's hit directorial Ram Lakhan starring Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor in titular roles completed 30 years of its release. Remembering it, Anil had tweeted, "#30yearsofRamLakhan & it's been one of my greatest joys to watch Lakhan continue to bring a smile to people's faces, & and a dance in their steps...I'm not one to look back & ponder, but as I move forward to new avenues, I'm grateful for the choices that got me here...#LakhanFTW!"

Though Anil and Jackie went on to work together in a few films, people still can't wait to witness the Ram Lakhan magic on the big screen yet again. Looks like, it's finally happening! The actors are set to reunite in Ghai's upcoming home production. Talking about the film, a report in Mumbai Mirror stated that Anil and Jackie will be seen playing the role of two 50-year-old cops in the film, Ramchand Kishanchand.

A source stated to the tabloid, "It’s a crime-comedy that tells the story of two 50-year-old cops and is slated to go on the floors in Mumbai later this year."

When Subash was asked about it, he said, "We have been working on various scripts for Anil and Jackie and have liked one."

Meanwhile, Jackie was recently seen in Salman Khan starrer Bharat, where he played his onscreen father. Whereas, Anil will next be seen in Pagalpanti directed by Anees Bazmee co-starring John Abraham, Ileana D'Cruz among others.
