Angad Bedi’s look in the upcoming film, The Zoya Factor, is similar to that of Punjabi rockstars — the hair style and tattoos. Hip-hop artistes have a unique style that is a blend of their sense of artistic freedom and swag. Angad will be seen wearing a lot of baggy T-shirts as well as hoodies, and some of these have quirky captions. It’s a world of fantasy that has the earthiness of Punjab pind (village) as well the style of high-end brands. Punjabi popstars like Diljit Dosanjh and Badshah are known for their sense of style and a lot of flashes of their dressing will be seen in Angad’s character in the film.

Angad, who plays a cricketer, says, “My character’s look is a lot like the Punjabi pop stars and the amazing sense of style they have. Today, they’re mainstream inspiration for fashion and are  aspirational figures for many.”

About his character’s style quotient, the Pink actor says that he dresses like a boss. “Because he is the vivacious, gregarious superstar of the Indian cricket team, the clothing had to reflect this  larger-than-life vibe of his. He is fashionable and can pull off anything from a jersey to a sharp suit to jumpers. But in his personal space, he dresses up in bold colours. There are bright monotoned bombers to simple shirts quirked up with some cool writing or captions. He has an enviable sneaker collection too. His vibrant look adds a nuance to the character itself.”
