Amitabh Bachchan undergoes liver treatment, admitted from past 3 days

Amitabh Bachchan is an inspirational figure, indeed! Despite several health problems he suffered over the years, he is one of the busiest and active members in the film industry. There's not a single day when he is not shooting, attending events and more. Over the years, Big B has shared about how his 75% of the liver does not function due to cirrhosis. This happened years ago when one of his blood donors was carrying the Hepatitis B virus which affected his liver badly.

Now as per reports in Pune Mirror, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted in the hospital for about three days due to liver problem. The news did not broke and the actor himself did not share it to his fans despite being very much active on his blog and Twitter. He had even shared throwback photos with Jaya Bachchan on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. Big B is kept in a special room and is being frequently visited by his family members.

Earlier talking about his liver damage, Amit Ji had said, "I keep quoting my personal example all the time and try and propagate the idea of getting yourself detected. I don't mind saying this publicly. I am a tuberculosis survivor, Hepatitis B survivor... Bad blood infusion went in and 75 per cent of my liver is gone but because I was able to detect it, even after a period of 20 years when 75 per cent of my liver is gone, I am still surviving on 25 per cent."
