Bollywood's iconic actress Sridevi breathed his last in Dubai on Satuday night. The entire nation and her fans across the globe are in a state of shock, ever since the news of demise of 54 year old actress is out. While initial reports hinted that megastar Sridevi died due to cardiac arrest, Dubai police's forensic report reveals that the actress died from accidental drowning and traces of alcohol have been found in her body. Reportedly, Under the influence of alcohol, Sridevi lost her balance, fell into the bathtub and drowned.

Former Member of Parliament, Amar Singh who is a close family friend of Sridevi and husband Boney Kapoor came out to clarify about traces of alcohol being found in her flood. He told ANI, "Srideviji did not drink hard liquor, she used to have wine sometimes like me and many others in public life." He even confirmed that veteran actress' mortals will reach India tonight. He said, " .I have talked to Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Al Nahyan, he assured me that all formalities and reports are complete. Her mortal remains should reach India by midnight."
Meanwhile, Sridevi's death case has been transferred to Dubai Public Prosecution, which will carry out regular legal procedures followed in such cases.
The actress was in Dubai to attend the wedding of her sister-in-law's son Mohit Marwah. Just hours before the news of her untimely death went viral, her pictures from the destinations wedding were also doing the rounds on the Internet. Her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor had confirmed the news on late Satruday night. Fans have been gathered outside her Andheri residence in Mumbai to pay tributes to their beloved actor ever since then.
Sridevi was last seen in revenge-drama -- 'Mom' produced by husband Boney Kapoor -- alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. Her last appearance on the big screen is going to be the special appearance for a song in Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer Zero which will release on Christmas 2018. Her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor will also make her debut in Karan Johar's Dhadak in July this year.
