Katrina and Fatima will be sharing screen space in Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’
Our Bollywood industry is certainly full of gossips, with news of breakups, catfights and alleged affairs making headlines every day but a rivalry between two leading actresses manages to get the most attention. From a cold war between Judwaa 2 actresses, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez to Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta being at loggerheads during Baadshaho, the audience has heard enough rumours of a rivalry stemming between two leading actresses. Now as per a report in BollywoodLife, it seems another actress duo is set to join the list. Well, we are talking about Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, who will next be seen together in Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan.
While it is not unknown that Fatima is in Aamir’s good books and after making an astounding debut in Dangal, she is all geared up for another amazing cinematic outing with stars like Katrina, Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan. But it seems all is not well on the sets of Thugs of Hindostan. If the report in BollywoodLife is to believed, sources close to the film have revealed that Katrina will be seen in an altogether new avatar with dark kohl eyes, wavy hair and sexy costumes. Since we’ve seen how sizzling she look in the trailer and songs of Tiger Zinda Hai, we won’t be amazed to witness the same in the Aamir Khan-starrer. Apparently, this hasn’t gone down well with Fatima, who is now worried with Kat’s intense preparation.
Meanwhile, Fatima has given reasons to Katrina too for her to be worried. Reportedly, Aamir is focussing more on her Dangal girl, who plays the central character in Thugs of Hindostan and is ensuring that Fatima gets more screen time. During a recent media interaction, Aamir even said, “My every film has women in a significant role. Even in Thugs of Hindostan, the central role is the girl which is being played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. The story of the film is about her.” Now that’s reason enough for Katrina to worry too.
While we’ve seen Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s look from the film, we certainly wish to see Fatima and Katrina in the film since we are curious to know which actress shines more -- something that has already become a point of rivalry.
