Alia Bhatt rings in Friendship Day with her mother Soni Razdan

It's Friendship Day today and like us common people, Bollywood celebs are also celebrating the day with their besties. While some chose to party with their BFFs a few others celebrated the day with their partners. But, Alia Bhatt chose to celebrate it with his mother Soni Razdan. 

The actress enjoyed a 'loud lunch' in a posh Mumbai restaurant with Soni Razdan and her closest friends Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor and Anu Ranjan. The 'Highway' star took to Instagram and posted a snap of the four outside the restaurant,with a caption, "2 + 2 friends = 1 loud lunch #happyfriendshipday." 

Sharing the same picture, Soni wrote, "Some Sundays are soooper special #motherdaughter #friendships #happyfriendshipday #yummyfood #cincin"

The mother-daughter duo was last seen together in the blockbuster, 'Raazi'. On the work front, Alia will next seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Also starring Mouni Roy and Tollywood star Nagarjuna, the flick will hit the theaters on August 15, 2019.
