Alia Bhatt: God created Deepika Padukone with a lot of love and patience

Alia Bhatt might be dating Deepika Padukone’s once-upon-a-time love Ranbir Kapoor, but that has not caused any differences between the actresses. In fact Alia Bhatt during one of her interviews was all praises about Deepika and said things like “God created Deepika Padukone with a lot of love and patience”

Talking to a host on a radio show while promoting her movie Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh, Alia spoke about Deepika. In a segment, when Alia was asked to comment about Kareena Kapoor Khan, she said, “Woh meri favourite hai”. She was then asked to say a few things about Deepika, to which Alia responded, "Aapki bhabhi, inki baby, meri didi. Unke baare mein main kya bolun? I think she is... kehte hai na ki bhagwan ne bahut pyaar se samay leke kayi ghante baithke banaya hai. It’s not only about  the way she looks but also her soul and her personality. Apart from Ranveer, I have had the fortune to spend quite some time with her, of late. Woh bhi meri favourite hai," Alia said.

Coming as a surprise jodi, Deepika and Alia shared the ‘Koffee With Karan’ couch last year, which is when Deepika Padukone revealed that she would get married soon. A few days before that, a group of friends, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, met, making for an epic picture.

Deepika and Ranveer Singh did end up getting married after six-year-long courtship. Their marriage took place in Lake Como, Italy on November 14-15 in South Indian wedding and Anand Karaj, which was followed by three receptions – one held in Bangalore and the other two hosted in Mumbai.
