Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt's Sadak 2 to have a big twist!

According to buzz doing the rounds Sadak 2, the sequel to  the Sanjay Dutt-Pooja Bhatt-starrer, Sadak, will fast forward 20 years after his character rescues her from the brothel. 

Sadak 2, as it's tentatively titled, is expected to feature the lead pair two decades after the incident. Reports were rife that Alia Bhatt could play the couple's daughter but there's no development on that front just yet. 

Mahesh Bhatt, who helmed the 1991 runaway hit, is said to be scripting the new film that will have an antagonist as powerful as Maharani, the transgender brothel chief played by Sadashiv Amrapurkar. It's among the most memorable roles performed by the late actor.
