Akshay Kumar in Farhad's next directorial

The writer-director duo Sajid-Farhad, who helmed It’s Entertainment and Housefull 3 —both starring Akshay Kumar and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, parted ways due to creative differences. The Samji siblings started their career as writers for Ram Gopal Varma’s Shiva and as a team went on to script several films for Rohit Shetty including the hit Golmaal series. Now, after parting ways, sources say that Farhad is all set to independently direct a film starring Akshay. This, too, will be produced by Nadiadwala. It also means that Akshay will not be part of Housefull 4, which is to be directed by Sajid Khan, who had helmed the first two films in the franchise.
