Ajay Devgn and Kajol have been married for almost two decades now. This iconic jodi of b-town has not just given many Bollywood blockbusters together but continue to make us believe that opposites attract. After all, Ajay Devgn is known as the man with a few words while his wifey dear is known to be an outspoken person who never tries to hide away her feelings.
So, keeping up with the humour and jokes around every married couple, Devgn introduced us to his wife's wax statue in the most hilarious way.
On Thursday, Kajol unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Singapore. While hubby dear was busy with shooting back home, the actress was happily accompanied by her daughter Nysa for the red carpet affair. DDLJ actress shared a picture of herself with Nysa, right before the event and captioned it, "My little girl with me on a red carpet for the first time.
Twinning in black, the mother-daughter duo looked delighted with Kajol's wax statue being unveiled. But you just can't Ajay Devgn's take on the proud moment for the family. He took to Twitter to share a fun boomerang with Nysa standing between her mother and statue and captioned it, " Meet the silent Kajol" Lol!
Kajol also clicked a selfie with her wax statue and captioned it, "Always been a Kajol fan."
Ajay Devgn and Kajol's elder child Nysa is currently studying in Singapore. In an interview to Hindustan Times, the actress had earlier spoken about how it was a tough decision for her to send her away for higher studies. She said, "It was very, very tough for me, but not as tough as it was probably for Ajay because I have myself studied in a boarding school away from home. It's really difficult for any parent to be separated from your children, but at the end of the day, it's for their own good."
On the work front, Kajol is gearing for the release of Pradeep Sarkar's film Eela, which is co-produced by Ajay Devgn.
