Ajay Devgn in Rajkumar Gupta's next?

Rajkumar Gupta has put his plans to make a thriller, based on true events, with Siddharth Malhotra on hold. It is learnt that he will instead be making a film with Ajay Devgn and is figuring out dates with the actor.

Says a source close to the unit, "Ajay's dates are yet to be locked. A proper announcement will be made soon.''

The film is being produced by Kumar Mangat. Before his film plans with Siddharth and Devgn, the filmmaker had almost locked a subject with Kareena Kapoor, which was titled Section 84, but later got shelved.
