His last directorial, Mohjenjo Daro, starring Hrithik Roshan was a huge flop, but that hasn’t deterred Ashutosh Gowariker from attempting another period drama. However, unlike Mohenjo Daro, which was a fictitious story based in 2016 BC, this film will recount an actual incident from modern history. Buzz is, his banner has acquired the rights to produce a film on a Maharaja, who set up a home-away-from-home for Polish refugee orphans in his Jamnagar palace, and helped save the lives of 640 Polish children during World War II. It is learnt that they have got permission not only from the royal family, but also from five of the Polish survivors who are residing in Poland.
