After having acted in movies like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge and Bombay Velvet, it seems that acting is still on the cards for director producer Karan Johar. He has been offered a role and is reportedly very excited about it.

K'Jo, who swore not to act in movies again after the debacle of Bombay Velvet, accepted the offer. The movie is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Diljeet Dosanjh. It is based on the backstage action of IIFA  Awards (International Indian Film Academy Awards).

The duo Sonakshi Sinha and Diljeet Dosanjh are in New York to attend the star-studded award ceremony and have started shooting for the film simultaneously. The rookie director Chakri Toleti had approached Karan for the role. As reported by a publication, “It’s a full-fledged role and not a cameo. While many celebs are making cameos (in the film), K’Jo has a prominent part in the movie. He will be seen playing himself. He was kicked about the idea the minute he heard it.”
