Lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have become everyone's center of attention, thanks to their whirlwild romance. They reportedly fell in love on the sets of their upcoming film Brahmastra. After making heads turn with their public appearances, it was only recently that Ranbir confirmed their relationship status by saying, "It's too new. Let it cook for some time."

When Alia was recently asked about marriage plans, she told India Today, "I am not someone who plans out my life thinking, 'Well, that's how it should be done.' I feel the best things in life should happen when they are least expected. Maybe, people expect me to get married at 30, but I might surprise myself as well and get married before that."

And now Ranbir, who interacted with his fans via Twitter on Father's Day (June 17), hinted at getting married soon. During the chat, one of Ranbir's fans asked him when he is planning to tie the knot, to which the 35-year-old actor, who is awaiting the release of Sanju said, "Soon hopefully."

Earlier at a press conference, Ranbir had said, “When I was younger, I used to believe that I’ll get married at the age of 27. I’ll have kids by the time I am 29-30. I’ll have two kids. But life doesn’t go how you plan it. It’s how you and your partner decide that now let’s take it to the next level. And it happens very naturally and organically.”

The actor also added, “I believe in the institution of marriage. I want my own children, my wife, I want to have my own family. I hope that I’ll have that privilege soon.”

In an interview with GQ magazine, when Ranbir was asked what is it like to be newly in love, he had said, “It always comes with a lot of excitement. It’s a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again– you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I’m more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back.”

Ranbir and Alia will soon be seen sharing screen space in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'.
