Aditya Warrior, ace Bollywood editor passes away. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta broke the news on his Twitter page by writing, "Aditya Warrior who edited Omerta and did a lot of visual promotions for my work is no more. Devastating news. He was a good man, a great colleague and a fine editor. It feels odd and sad referring to him in the past tense." He also tweeted, "Aditya and his team had cut trailers for some fine films including Trapped, Manto, RR2.0, Masaan."

Aditya has been a part of the company named Warriors Touch. They have edited, cut the trailer, worked on visual promotions of several movies namely Tera Intezaar, Shorgul, Santa Banta Pvt Ltd, Sonali Cable, Purani Jeans, Singh Saab The Great, Island City, Vodka Diaries, Poorna, Partition: 1947, Masaan, Margarita With A Straw, High Jack, Trapped, Raman Raghav 2.0, Hasee Toh Phasee, Omerta, Neerja, Shaandaar, Manto, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela among others.

Check out Hansal's tweet below:

Earlier, during an interaction with Scroll.in, Aditya had spoken about cutting the trailer of Trapped. He had said, "Making the trailer of Trapped was an amazing experience. The story is set in a room, so the challenge is in how do you make that interesting. We pitched an idea and got on board. The use of sound in this particular trailer was more interesting than any others in recent times because there is very little dialogue. It was a difficult one to do and we made a number of iterations."

May his soul rest in peace!
