Not only will Aamir Khan act in the Rakesh Sharma biopic, but also produce it!

After Dangal, Aamir Khan had given his nod for the Rakesh Sharma biopic titled Saare Jahan Se Achcha. However, the actor wants to have a major say in this project. As per a BollywoodLife report, a source revealed, "Aamir is not just acting in this film, he is also going to produce the movie under his banner (AKP). While Ronnie Screwala’s company RSVP was to originally produce the film, now they will just be presenting the movie." 

The source also added, "He (Aamir) has big plans in his mind for the movie and is taking keen interest in every aspect of this film including the casting." 

Earlier the makers were to title the film as Salute. But later they changed the movie title to Saare Jaan Se Achcha, taking real life significance to Rakesh Sharma’s space travel because just ahead of his space outing Rakesh uttered these four words ( Saare Jahan Se Achcha) to the then prime minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Aamir has already started prepping for this role. 

Currently, Aamir is busy with the shooting of Thugs Of Hindostan, which also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Amitabh Bachchan. After the hit blockbuster Dhoom 3 under the Yash Raj Films banner,  Aamir and Katrina Kaif will also be seen together for the second time now in Thugs Of Hindostan.
