For a while now, Aamir Khan has been obsessing over the epic drama Mahabharat. On his birthday last year, he accidentally let his obsession slip in front of the journos. A few over-enthusiastic media types also jumped into the discussion and even suggested to the Bollywood superstar that he should play Krishna in the mythological film/web series as the case may be. While he heard everyone, he said nothing.
In fact, Aamir has been refusing to answer all direct questions on this subject. However, an insider says that the actor-filmmaker has been passing up several offers including biopics on astronaut Rakesh Sharma and music baron Bhushan Kumar, which he is likely to co-produce. Reason being that post Thugs of Hindostan, that is scheduled to release on Diwali this year, Aamir will immerse himself completely in Mahabharat.
