Kangana Ranaut has earned the tag of 'Queen' of controversies in 2017. Whether it's her ugly fall-out with Hrithik Roshan in the public eye or not supporting Deepika Padukone in the 'Padmavat' crisis.

This actress is in no mood to stop.

At an event recently, the actress mocked at 'superstar' trying to put her behind and all those who know her past didn't take much time to guess that she is talking about her Kites co-star here. Miss Ranaut was quoted saying,"We condemn it, it’s extremely wrong. But, like I always say it is not something that should shock you. When my sister was in school, she faced acid-attack, in a professional environment, a superstar tried to put me behind bars.”

She added, “It’s a very common thing that happens in our society. Whether you want to attack an individual, or stand up against orthodox thoughts and patriarchy. We can call out individuals and it is not restricted to men, it includes women too. We must attack the thought, we should and we are, may it be through our work, speech or films. Hence, films are most important and we can reach maximum number of people through films.”

Confirming Deepika has her supoort, Simran actress openly refused to be a part of Shabana Azmi's campaign. In her official statement she had said, "I was filming Manikarnika in Jodhpur when I got a call from dear friend Anushka Sharma to sign the petition written by Ms. Shabana Azmi. I explained to her that Deepika Padukone has all my support but I am a bit wary of Shabana Azmi’s investment in left-wing Vs right-wing politics. I have my own set of ideas and opinions about the current situation in our country. I am on the fence about many things and being a part of a feminist movement called Deepika Bachao led by someone who character assassinated me when I was bullied by influential men, seems to be one of them. Anushka understood but I am glad they reached out to me. Like I said Deepika has all my support, I am an individual perfectly capable of supporting who I like without anyone’s support."
