P.S.: Suniel Shetty is a treat to watch out for...
After teasing the audience with the posters of the film, the makers of Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Gentleman have finally unveiled the trailer of the movie. Going by the looks of it, A Gentleman is going to be a full blown masala entertainer.
The trailer begins with an intriguing dialogue by Sidharth and two shots of him, that introduce us to Gaurav and Rishi respectively. Gaurav is a Sundar,Susheel, sarvagun sampann simpleton, who's life is proceeding in the reverse (as explained by his office colleague). Gaurav has bought his own house and has a mini van. The only thing left to do is to get his lady love Kavya (Jacqeline Fernandez) to say 'yes' to him for marriage.
Not that Kavya doesn't like Gaurav, she only has a problem with him being oh-so-perfect. In fact when asked what's wrong with him, she says, "Koi kharaabi nahi hai, bas yehi toh kharaabi hai." Enter Rishi, who's complete badass, risky and adventurous. In short, everything that Kavya apparently wants Gaurav to be.
As the trailer progresses, we also get to see Suniel Shetty in a completely different avatar as the villain who wants to hunt Rishi down at any cost. It's so nice to see Suniel Shetty back in action. We're definitely looking forward to watching him in the film (apart from Sidharth's fantastic abs and Jacky's too-hot-to handle moves of course). The breathtakingly beautiful locations are an added plus.
The trailer of A Gentleman appears to be a perfect mix of action, romance and drama that ensues because of the mistaken identity of Gaurav/Rishi. It would be interesting to watch whether these two are different persons or are actually alter egos.
Written and directed by Raj & DK, the movie is all set to release on August 25.
