A film that changed my life: Varun Dhawan looks back at his journey as 'Badlapur' clocks 4 years

It's been four years since Varun Dhawan starrer Badlapur hit the screens. The film showed the handsome actor in a never-seen-before avatar and people couldn't stop lauding about his incredible performance as Raghu. In Badlapur, Varun's character avenges the death of his wife (played by Yami Gautam) and young daughter. The thriller film was directed by Sriram Raghavan and also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles.

As Badlapur clocked four years, Varun took to his Twitter page and shared about it. He tweeted a few stills from the film and said, "#4YearsOfBadlapur  a film that changed my life thank u sriram @MaddockFilms @Nawazuddin_S @humasqureshi @radhika_apte @yamigautam @pathakvinay"

Even Huma tweeted her look and stills with Varun and Nawazuddin from the film by saying, "4 years of #Badlapur !! Thank you for this film and the role of a lifetime #SriRam #Dino @Varun_dvn @Nawazuddin_S @MaddockFilms"

Meanwhile, Varun's next movie is multistarrer period film Kalank directed by Abhishek Varman. The film has an ensemble cast including Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Kalank is releasing on April 19, 2019.

Dhawan is currently shooting for Street Dancer 3D in London, in which he is paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The film is being helmed by Remo D'Souza and it's the third instalment in ABCD franchise. The movie also stars Prabhudheva, Nora Fatehi and Shakti Mohan in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on November 8, 2019.
