Bollywood actors enjoy immense popularity and a huge fan following owing to their work. They're also constantly surrounded by security, especially when they're out for public events. One would think that none would dare to misbehave with the celebs, especially in public, but contrary to popular belief, B-Town celebs, especially actresses are as vulnerable to harassment and molestation in public, as any other lady. Sushmita Sen recently opened up about one such incident which took place with her recently, when she caught a 15-year-old boy trying to molest her during a public event.

The actress was speaking at a recenly held event in Mumbai. Sushmita was asked about the issue of the safety of women in our country. The actress said, "So many times people think we don’t encounter things like misbehaviour because we have bodyguards. Let me tell you, even with ten bodyguards around, we are dealing with a crowd of at least a hundred men who have often managed to misbehave with us.”

She further shared the incident when a 15-year-old tried to feel her up at an event. Sushmita expatiated, "Six months ago at an award function, a fifteen-year-old boy misbehaved with me as he thought I wouldn’t realize because of the crowd around. But, he was wrong. I grabbed his hand from my behind and I was shocked to see he was so young, he was just fifteen!”

While one would expect the actress to have taken a strict action, and inform the police, however, Sushmita Sen did something completely unexpected. She revealed, "“I held him by his neck and took him for a walk. I told him if I make a hue and cry, his life would be over. He denied having misbehaved at first, but I sternly told him to acknowledge. He realized his mistake, said sorry and promised me that it will never happen again."

Sushmita also shared why she didn't take a strict action against the boy. She said, "I didn’t take an action against him because I understood that the fifteen-year-old was not taught that such things are an offence and not entertainment."
