Ever since the captain of India's cricket team opted out of India-Sri Lanka series in December citing ‘personal reasons’, the rumours of his wedding started doing the rounds once again. Several TV channels reported that the couple was likely to tie the knot between December 11-13 in Milan but Anushka’s rep rubbished the rumours and told PTI, “There is absolutely no truth to it (rumours of marriage).”
But with the duo leaving the country around the same dates and with their friends and family in tow is adding fuel to the fire. The couple seems determined to keep the biggest day of their lives away from the prying eyes of camera.
India Today reported that Anushka and Virat will register their marriage at the Bandra family court on January 4. According to their sources, the actress has already picked up the registration forms for the same. Virat’s close friends and family have already booked their tickets to Milan. Not just that, Virat’s childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, who is also the coach of the Under-23 Delhi team, has excused himself from a crucial match on December 7, citing a reason that his nephew is getting married.
According to Mid-Day report, neighbours of Anushka Sharma have received invites for the wedding of the year! The actress' father has been personally calling selected few residents ar Badrinath Tower at Versova for Virat-Anushka wedding. As per the source quoted by Mumbai daily, " The star dad has made calls to some building folks, inviting them to the wedding that is slated for next week. As everyone cannot travel to Italy, he was keen to make them aware of the developments and seek blessings for the couple."
Now, given that the couple has left the country, the wedding is likely to happen on December 12.
A few days back designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee was also spotted exiting Anushka's house leading to speculation that he might design her wedding trousseau.
