Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh's film 'Padmaavat' has become the highest grosser of 2018 . With whopping collections of 300 crores in 50 days of its release, team Sanjay Leela Bhansali definitely is a mood to celebrate.

But this period drama is not the first film to enter the 300 crore club as six big releases have already join the coveted club before. This list includes Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' and 'PK', Salman Khan starrer 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and even SS Rajamouli 'Baahubali 2'.

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus scored way beyond 300 crores at box-office as its Hindi version alone earned 500 crores in India.

Padmaavat got a huge release worldwide and even Akshay Kumar delayed the release of Pad Man to make way for Bhansali's film which was already struggling with the controversies and opposition from Rajput Karni Sena. The protests continued even after Central Board of Film Certification cleared the film. As a result, many states refuse to release the film and the screen came down from 4000 as planned initially.

Released on January 25, Padmaavat garnered critic's appreciation for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh grand performances. But the film made on a whopping budget of 180 crores garnered 300.26 crores collectively from Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions.

Whereas Aamir Khan and Salman Khan made much more money through the Hindi version of their respective films itself. Baahubali 2 is the only Telugu production which is an exception here.

While Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor are celebration their first 300 crore blockbuster in their career, there's a long way to go for the young actors to match upto Khan domination in theatres.
