Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer much anticipated film 2.0 hit the theatres on Thursday and managed to rake in Rs 20. 25 crore (Hindi version) on its opening day. While one was expecting the collections to rise up on the following day, on the contrary, the Box Office collections of 2.0 (Hindi) witnessed a decline on the second day of its release.

The Hindi version of S.Shankar directorial managed to rake in a total of Rs 18 crore at the ticket windows. Though, it's not a major dip and the overall box office collections are still expected to record a rising trend beginning from Saturday. As of now, the total collection of the Hindi version of the film in two days stands at Rs 38.25 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the Box Office figures. He wrote, "#2Point0 remained strong on Day 2... Although the film has declined on Day 2, the biz should gather momentum on Day 3 [Sat] and Day 4 [Sun]… Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr. Total: ₹ 38.25 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version."

On the other hand, the film is wrecking havoc at the Chennai box office from day one itself. The Tamil and Telugu versions of 2.0 are doing exceptionally well too. In fact, 2.0 had crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in terms of its worldwide collections, on its opening day itself.

Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is the sequel to Enthiran or Robot. The film also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in significant roles.
