Playing the role of 102 year old daddy cool, Big B is having fun at the expense of his 'beta old school' Rishi Kapoor. Imagine asking a married man to write a love letter to his own wife, definitely it's not going to be an easy task for the poor man who has been married for so many year. Big B's character wants his son played by Rishi Kapoor to unleash his romantic side and write a letter to his wife. He even decorates the house with flowers, plasters his wife's picture everywhere including his coffee mug and even gets him a bunch of heart shaped balloons to inspire him.
While Amitabh Bachchan's character wants to life to the fullest, plays football with millennials and plays saxophone like any other youth, Rishi Kapoor also looks convincing in the part of the grumpy old man. The two legendary actors play roles quite in contrast to each other but look adorable in this fun song.
Composed by Salim-Sulaiman and written by Hiral Brahmbhatt, the song has been sung by Arjit Singh. Filmmaker Umesh Shukla had earlier praised singer Arijit Singh as he told DNA After Hrs, “Arijit is a youth icon and Mr Bachchan’s character is young at heart. It’s not a lip-sync song, so we decided to get Arijit to sing it.”

'102 Not Out' is adapted from Saumya Joshi's popular Gujarati play by the same name and directed by Umesh Shukla of 'Oh My God' fame.
