Noted film and television actress Rita Bhaduri left for heavenly abode on Tuesday morning due to kidney failure, as per the reports that are doing the rounds. Her cremation took place on Tuesday afternoon. She was 62 when she breathed her last. In a career spanning about five decades, Rita Bhaduri had acted in more than 70 films and 30 TV shows. 

Some of the notable films of the late veteran actress include Raja, Julie, Beta, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. She also impressed the viewers in TV shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu, Kumkum and Khichdi among others. 

Rita Bhaduri was last seen as Imarti Devi in Star Bharat’s TV show Nimki Mukhiya. A number of celebs from the film and television industry took to social media to mourn the loss of the veteran actress..

Rita Bhaduri's co-stars and near and dear ones remember her as a wonderful woman and collague to work with. They maintain that she was full of life and brightened up the sets with her mere presence.

The actress was reportedly suffering from a serious kidney ailment. She passed away at the age of 62. Anil Kapoor took to his Twitter account to moun her loss. He posted, "#RitaBhaduri was one of the finest actresses that #FTII gave us. I had the honour of working with her in Ghar Ho to Aisa, Beta & Viraasat & I'm really saddened to hear about her passing...She will be dearly missed by her friends, family & fans..."
