While all the family members of the Bachchan family, beginning with Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bahchan have been ruling the screens with their acting prowess, it was daughter Shweta Bachchan who mostly stayed away from the limelight and was never seen expressing any desire to act. But finally, even she couldn't help keep her away from acting as Shweta Bachchan will soon be seen making her acting debut along side, none other than, her own father Amitabh Bachchan, for a jewellery brand TVC.

A leading jewellery brand has roped in Shweta Bachchan Nanda as an influencer. Shweta will feature in the brand’s latest TV campaign along with her father Amitabh Bachchan, who has been the global brand ambassador of the jewellery brand since 2012.

The father-daughter duo will enact the special bond they share on screen for the first time. The
ad film directed by GB Vijay from Sculptors Production, narrates the story of a father and daughter, while also echoing the values of trust and transparency, that the brand stands for.
3. Shweta to create signature jewellery collections

Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who recently announced her upcoming book, is also known within
close circles as a designer. As an influencer, Shweta will be the face of many
customer centric initiatives of the brand. Renowned for her sartorial elegance, Shweta will
also bring her unique style sensibilities by curating signature collections for the jewellery brand.

The TVC, which is also being shot in Malayalam will have Manju Warrier playing the role of
Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter. The advertisement is expected to go on air in July.

While a normal jewellery brand ad would have the celebrity endorsing it by wearing heavy ones but if these stills are anything to go by, this TVC is going to be different. Shwea can be seen in a pretty deglam avatar, clad in a simple salwar kameez with no heavy jewellery adorning her. Even Amitabh Bachchan can be seen in the guise of an old man, playing her on screen father.

Apart from making her acting debut, Shweta Bachchan will also be seen unveiling her debut novel. Titled, Paradise Towers, the book is supposed to be a slice-of-life story that takes place in an apartment in Mumbai.
